This information is intended to inform neighbours of the LNG terminal about the activities at the facility, safety measures related to the operations, and appropriate behaviour in the event of a major accident. The LNG facility is subject to the Major Accident Regulations, which are administered by the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB). The purpose of the regulations is to prevent major accidents and limit the consequences they may have on people, the environment, and material assets.
