Billet
The billet is a semi-processed steel product obtained directly from our electric arc furnace steel mill, with a square section of up to 160×160 mm and lengths of up to 13 meters, used for the manufacturing of finished steel products through rolling processes, and available in chemical compositions tailored to our customer’s needs.
Reinforcing Steel
We produce and deliver both rebar in bars and rebar in coils according to all Scandinavian homologations.
In storage you find bars in diameter 6-40mm and lenghts 6-18m.
Rebar in coils is available in diameter 6-16mm and bundels from 2,5-8t.
Rebar according to other Northern Europian homologations can also be provided upon request.
Our rebar products are manufactured 100% from steel scrap and with extended use of hydropower, making the CO2 emmision as low as 305 kg CO2 eq/ton (A1-A3).
Wire Rod
7 Steel produce a mild steel coil which is also known as wire rod for mesh. This mesh coil is used by some fabricators in the production of reinforcing mesh. The wire rod is produced on our rod line, which can achieve speeds of up to 90 metres per second during production. The material is laid on the cooling beds via a laying head where it cools before being stacked and bound vertically.
Wire rod for mesh is produced in a wild coil format and has a carbon content of ≤ 0.18% in diameters between 5.5mm and 17mm. Coil weight is 2.2 tonnes.
